- I'm not able to create an app for the App Store, because it requires that you have a Mac in order to develop them.
- Waiting for a version of TipTapp on the app store. Will buy.
- Oh, look at you guys! So cute. Are you finding the wordpress iphone app limiting or just right for the type of blogging you would typically be doing from said device?

Google’s Social Network based on Reader (not an OpenSocial post I promise!) started by Paul
Google has been in the news lately regarding building/buying a social network. Much of the talks started because Microsoft is buying 5% of Facebook [Microsoft + Facebook = Trouble for Google]. Google is not in trouble - Google has the opportunity to build a useful social platform with the resources they already have: Google Reader, […]
tipTapp - tip calculator for the iPhone/iPod Touch started by Paul
I put together a tip calculator that is as fully featured as a tip calculator can get, but I think is simple & easier to use than any of the current tip calculators available for the iPhone.

My new iPhone will only cost $179/yr started by Paul
We all know Valleywag is over the top. $1,237 for the true cost of the new 3g iPhone is incorrect. He doesn’t take into account only incremental costs as it’s not fair to assume you never had a cell phone before this and you were not paying anything before.
gReader Comments updated for FF 3.0 RC1 & Notes started by Paul
I’ve updated the extension to add support for Firefox 3.0 RC1. I haven’t been able to really test it like I wanted, so please let me know if you run into any problems and I will address them.

gReader Comments updated for Disqus started by Paul
The Google Reader comments add-on for Firefox I created has been updated to use the Disqus commenting system instead of IntenseDebate. The old version will still work, but the Disqus & IntenseDebate versions will not talk to each other: so any comments that are made will not be seen by a
8 reasons why I’ll be staying with Disqus started by Paul
Up until about a week ago I was using IntenseDebate for my blog & the gReader Comments extension. I’m not a fan of just adding work-load to my free time, so the short-term reason I switched was because I didn’t know how to stop all the Arabic comments coming through

scoresTapp - new iPhone web-app started by Paul
I threw together a new iPhone web-app. This was by far the quickest & easiest one I have done yet. It’s based entirely on the CSB Sportsline data. The idea for it came from trying to get the Sportsline scores gadget from iGoogle on the iPhone, but none of the pages it produced

Jott.com - a web service I might actually use! started by Paul
http://www.jott.comJott is a simple, but clever little service that let’s you call an 800 number and leave yourself a 15-second message. Jott emails you an audio clip of what you said as well as the transcription. I’ve been looking for something like this because my o

Top 25 signs that you’re getting old started by Paul
I saw this list on Digg today and thought I would share. I didn’t edit any of them, but I would have to in order to truly say it fits me perfectly. I am a little worried, however, that I fit at least half of them.1. Your houseplants are alive, and you can’t smoke any [%

My Chemical Romance or KISS? started by Paul
They had costumes, their faces painted, and all black hair. The show rocked, none the less, so it might as well been a KISS concert! They played at the Expo Center, so the venue definitely could have been better - but for winning tickets it saved us from having to drive to Lawrence or KC
Google Photos (Picasa) adds space started by Paul
Picasa, Google’s photo organizer and online photo gallery service, increased storage for all it’s users from 256mb to 1gb. I was going back and forth between Flickr (Yahoo’s service) and Picasa to host my pictures, and now once again Google has won my he
Web 2.0 … The Machine is Us/ing Us started by Paul
This video was done by a cultural anthro professor at KState - it’s been viewed close to 1.2 million times on YouTube already. It’s a great clip that identifies where Web 2.0 is taking us (or as he suggests where we are taking the web).

Run uTorrent and open .torrent files in it that you can find on ShareTV. It’s the newer p2p system that is used for distributing files across the Internet. You can also find non-tv shows at IsoHunt.
